How To Use Steel Plate Polishing Machine –

The PG-400-Q metal sheet plate polishing machine is designed for polishing stainless steel, brass, aluminum and other alloy metal sheet plate.

1.There is totally 4 motors on this machine. (Two of them are polishing motors.One is conveyor motor. One is sand belt ascending and descending motor.)

2.The maximum width of plate that this machine can polish is 400mm, while the maximum thickness of the plate can be up to 100mm.

3.The machine have automatic deviation correction function, when the sand belt move to left or right, it will be adjusted to the right position automatically.

4.There is four roller with spring that press the machine fix the steel plate on the platform.

5.The life span a sand belt is 2000-3500 meters polishing. (This data vary depending on to the material, actual roughness and pressing force etc..)

Preparation Before Operating The Plate Sanding Machine

Plate should be flat, if the plate is deformed, the polishing might be not successful.
Prepare 0.4Mpa air compressor for this machine.

User's Manual Operation Instruction For Steel Plate Polishing Machine

Connect this 3 terminal to your three phase input power.

Plate should be flat, if the plate is deformed, the polishing might be not successful.

Prepare 0.4Mpa air compressor for the machine running. After connecting the air compressor, the sand belt roller will get tightened prepared for further polishing work.

Turn on the machine by pushing this START button. Check if the conveyor move towards the right direction. As long as the conveyor direction is correct, the other direction will be all correct. Otherwise, change the wiring to correct it.

Turn off the conveyor. Set the sand belt roller height by input the thickness of the metal plate. After input the thickness data, you can manually jog control the up and down of the sand belt unit, every time you push the UP and DOWN button it will move 0.1mm. This helps to fine adjusting the sand belt distance to the sheet plate.

Place the raw plate on the conveyor and turn on the two polishing motor to run the polishing machine. Make sure the plate was placed within the green range of the conveyor, the plate should not exceed the left and right side.
